My client, an energy trading company base din Pangbourne, Reading, requires a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Pangbourne - £352 - £396 per day

Skills and Experience

Software architecture design.

C/C++ Embedded programming and debugging.

PC/Windows application development (eg Visual Studio C++/C# or in Python)

to create tools in support of Embedded systems.

Assembly language.

Experienced in working with a range of microcontrollers and their peripherals in

Embedded systems applications. From 8-bit to 32-bit microcontrollers.

MATLAB/Simulink/Autocoding

Communications protocols

CAN

RS232/UART

USB

LIN

Working to coding standards

MISRA C

Version control systems

Git/SVN/Mercurial

Documentation

FMEA

Ability to read and understand schematics for electronic circuits.

Ability to learn new skills and tools quickly
