SQL DBA/ Developer - Stockpot - £42,000

If you're a multi-skilled SQL DBA/Developer with a proven background in Database Administration and Database Development.

Expereince;

- Strong SQL background

- SQL 2008 - 2016

The role is split between DBA work and new Database Development work to support the Website Development Team. In your day to day role, you'll be tasked with developing and expanding our portfolio of apps and sites.

The function of this role is to support, manage & maintain the SQL Server databases that run a number of job boards. Activities will include:

* Database monitoring activities.

* Security & patch management

* Backup & recovery

* Performance management

* Managing helpdesk incidents

* Change relating to SQL server databases.

* Development of SQL Standards

* Designing and creating new tables

* Creating and Maintaining Stored Procedures/Views/User Defined Functions

* Rolling SQL script changes out to multiple databases

* Using AlwaysOn and using Failover Clustering and working High Availability environment

* Creating SSIS packages for importing data from various sources and running numerous background tasks

* Creating SSRS reports for providing staff members with data to support our Sales and Marketing activity
