Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Officer to join our client in Stafford on a 3 month initial contract. Our client is looking for additional support on a device refresh project, along with general experience in desktop support at a 1st / 2nd Line.

This will be a 3 month initial contract, with the potential to extend, and will be paying £13.20 per hour.

Our client is currently undergoing a device refresh project, and need an extra team member with desktop support and device rollout experience to hit the ground running within the team, to help deliver on time and to a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a key role to support the business, ensuring that IT is optimised in mostly a Windows environment, providing both hardware and application support.

Essential Skills:

*Background in desktop support, or device rollout projects, at 1st and 2nd line level

*Excellent communicator, able to deal with the customer directly and advise back to management on any issues

*ITIL qualified or similar (MCSA or MCSE)

*Strong general IT support knowledge in a Windows focused environment
