My client is an innovative, luxury fashion personal shopping and commerce business. They have been established for over five years and are looking to expand their successful team.

The Role

We are searching for an experienced data & analytics developer to be part of a great team that will define the next stage of my clients platform development and growth, and lead the future of online commerce.

As a data & analytics developer you will play a key role in defining the direction of the business by overseeing their data infrastructure. You’ll use social, sales and chat data to extract insights that will dramatically improve the performance of the company.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the company’s data processing, providing the rest of the business with the tools to make them most effective.

- Working as a member of the tech team at every stage of software development life cycle to lead the data side of things.

- Developing ETL pipelines from the systems we use (NetSuite, chat database, social content archive) to data store.

- Integrating data store with real-time dashboards.

Essential:

- Expert knowledge of SQL

- Experience designing Data warehouses

- Experience designing reporting systems and dashboards

- Expert knowledge of Python

- Good knowledge of ElasticSearch

- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools and systems

Knowledge of infrastructure could be helpful as well:

- Infrastructure as code solutions - preferably with Terraform.

- Server-less development with AWS Lambda or other similar solutions.

- AWS services: ECS, SNS, S3, RDS, Lambda are just to name few we use right now.

- Docker containers.

- Services and API security.
