Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Client is currently looking for a Maintenance Tradesman in the South Manchester area. There are a fantastic array of benefits to this job listed below.
Reporting to the Plant Engineer the main duties of the vacancy are:
Completes general maintenance of plant, equipment and services using planned, preventative techniques.
Implements a corrective program of maintenance work and small process improvements.
Carries out plant modifications in line with engineering standards and systems
Ensures all work completed is to the highest quality.
Completes documentation and records to meet engineering standards.
Understands internal and external customer requirements and endeavours to meet their needs.
Plans jobs with Production and within their area
Makes full use of maintenance technology (computer-based information, condition monitoring, stores management, spares and procurement)
Works with outside contracts and to ensure they provide a high quality service and meet site engineering standards
Conducts effective handovers and keeps colleagues informed of maintenance changes
Undertakes tasks to achieve area KPIs
As a minimum you will require:
NVQ Level III in an engineering discipline or equivalent
Substantial Engineering maintenance skills and experience
Ability To understand P&IDS, literate and numerate
Broad experience on typical maintenance machine tools
IT literate with knowledge of computerised maintenance systems
Excellent Communication Skills
