Role Positioning:

This role sits within our clients Commission Delivery Team who are responsible for managing all aspects of our Commission Delivery Process for the Customer.

This team manages the incoming pipeline of commissions; assesses them for suitability for delivery through our "Accelerated Capability Environment" (ACE), determines the most efficient delivery route, and then manages the delivery of the each commission using an Agile approach and methodology.

The key day to day responsibilities are as follows:

* Sole responsibility for managing a small (2-3) portfolio of commissions through a structured Assess, Assign and Deliver commissioning process.

* Mobilising members of the Clients Community and supporting the appointed Community member's delivery of their defined pieces of work ("commissions").

* Liaising with the appointed Community members to ensure that commissions are mobilised correctly, so that commissions are in good shape to start and can continue at pace.

* Managing the commission through the entire commission delivery process.

* Ensure that the correct ceremonies are conducted during Sprints, so that commissions are delivered with speed and control.

* Ensure commissions are closed correctly, so that valuable components are documented for future re-use and that lessons learnt are fed into future commissions.

Skills and Knowledge:

Essential:

* Educated to degree level.

* At least 2 years professional work experience.

* Track record or active involvement within project delivery.

* Experience of managing multiple stakeholders.

* An engaging and persuasive communication style, credible and comfortable in working with more senior stakeholders.

* Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills.

* Agile techniques & methodology.

Desirable:

* Worked in a Defence & Security environment.

* Understanding of national security and law enforcement.

* Involved within the expanding digital technology landscape; IoT, Big data, Internet Connection Records, 5G etc.

Candidate Background:

As we expand our Commission Delivery capability we are looking to engage a number of project management experienced Commission Delivery Consultants who have a track record of managing a small portfolio of projects.

This will most likely be a graduate calibre individual with 2-3 years professional work experience. Ideally they will have some exposure to the defence & security space, and a background either within either Business Analysis, Change or Project Management.

The role will carry a high degree of autonomy, with flexible working hours and offer a great work environment in our vibrant London offices on London's South Bank.
