A small, dynamic and highly successful technology services company, with an international client base, is seeking a Junior Technical Project Coordinator based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire to join its expanding team. This position is ideally suited to someone who is educated to degree level (or equivalent) and has a technical mindset, who wishes to pursue a unique career path with a blend of both project management and technical functions.
As a Junior Project Coordinator your duties will include:
Preparation and submission of Type Approval application files to government regulatory AuthoritiesTracking status and driving the Type Approval process to ensure deadlines are metAssisting with customer enquiries and providing day to day support for customers and our internal account managers on a range of radio type approval and technical matters.Reviewing product documents (such as test reports, circuit and PCB layout diagrams) to ensure they are suitable for Type Approval and product certification applications.Preparing and pre-testing engineering samples before they are shipped to overseas test laboratories.Verifying and supplementing the test instructions sent by our customers, so that they are targeted for their intended audience and can easily be understood by non-native English speaking engineers and technicians.Supporting formal testing at overseas type approval test laboratories, as needed.Managing and supporting international research projects on new technologies.
To be a successful Junior Project Coordinator you will have the following skills and experience:
Educated to bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level) or experience in a similar role.Excellent command of English languages (both written and spoken), other languages will be a bonus.A technical mindset and enjoy solving problems.Excellent relationship building skills.Good knowledge of computers and MS Office Professional suite.Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.Be familiar with, or willing to learn conformance testing for modern radio data-communication technologies (e.g. Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, RFID, Zigbee, GSM, UMTS, LTE etc.)Previous experience in a laboratory environment is advantageous.Interest in troubleshooting computers and networking hardware and software is advantageous.Willing to travel internationally (
