You will build applications and solutions that leverage the company's data to generate new insights whilst also leading a small team of talented Data Engineers. Requirements:

*Experience in a Lead Software Developer role solving complex large-scale data problems

*Good Java / Scala programming skills

*Knowledge Hadoop, MapReduce and Hive

*Knowledge of standard data structures, mining approaches and algorithms

*PostgreSQL MySQL with advanced techniques such as partitioning and indexing

*Excellent communication skills
