Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

£24'000 - £25'000 + Training, Development, Technical Progression and Excellent Benefits.

Witney, Oxfordshire (Commutable from: Oxford, Bicester, Abingdon, Didcot, Banbury, Swindon)

Excellent role on offer for someone looking to join an expanding company, who are known for training and developing their employees.

Do you have experience of using SolidWorks or SolidEdge? Have you completed modules in either manufacture machining, 3D printing or sheet metal?

Established over 30 years ago, this company design and manufacture a range of bespoke electro-mechanical assembled products. Due to an increase in workload they are now looking for an additional engineer to join their Research and Development department.

In this role you will be heavily involved with the entire mechanical design cycle of new products, from initial concept through to Production release. You will design components for machining, 3D printing and sheet metal forming, you will draught 2D/3D technical drawings, BOMs and instruction manuals, interfacing with customers and suppliers and Identify product and project risks.

The ideal candidate will be a Junior/Graduate design engineer with working experience of SolidEdge, designing either manufacture machining, 3D printing or sheet metal.

The Role:

* Junior/Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

* 2d/3d Drawing, using SolidEdge

* Designing Electro-Mechanical assembled products

* Interfacing with customers and suppliers, Identifying product and project risks.

The Candidate:

* Practical or Theoretical knowledge in machining, 3D printing or sheet metal design.

* SolidWorks or SolidEdge

* Wants to join a company that offers training and development.
