We have an excellent new job opportunity available for an SEO Analyst for our client in the south of Oxfordshire. Based in a stunning office setting, the SEO Analyst will be joining a growing SME within the digital technology industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an SEO Analyst who is looking for a new challenge or step in their career. If you’re an existing SEO Analyst or a candidate with an SEO or marketing background who is seeking employment with a friendly, staff-centric tech company.
In this SEO Analyst role you will be responsible for proposing and leading SEO campaigns and related projects as well as identifying opportunities for optimisation and traffic growth. It’s an important position and one in which the successful SEO Analyst can expect a successful career, working with the latest technologies in SEO, web analytics and marketing.
The Main Responsibilities of the SEO Analyst include:
Technical website audits
Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and reporting
Extracting and analysing data to support management decisions
Competitors research
Writing brief but engaging copy when needed on site for calls to action and navigation
Troubleshooting basic content management issues
Writing clear and logical requirement requests for online designers and web developers
Planning and assisting with the release of new features and improvements on websites
Ad hoc project work.
The following Skills and Experience are desired:
Experience in organic SEO, web optimisation and the use of related tools and software packages
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Tag Manager to provide custom tracking solutions
Ability to use data to identify trends and patterns, and to inform decisions
Proficiency in MS Excel - data manipulation, analysis and presentation
Excellent organisation skills - able to prioritise demands and coordinate a range of tasks and activities
An eye for detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently as part of a multi-discipline team
Highly Desirable skills include:
Good HTML skills and understanding of JavaScript and CSS
Any programming experience would be a bonus but not required
Knowledge of SQL, R, Tableau
This SEO Analyst position is based just north of Reading and is easily commutable from Reading, Oxford, Wallingford, Didcot, Abingdon, High Wycombe, Wokingham, Bracknell, Thame, Newbury, Swindon, Faringdon and many more locations.
