Cambridge based start-up seeking a Software System Test Engineer to join the business and take control of all aspects of system and interface testing. The main function of this role will be to maintain and then improve the current regression system to ensure the quality of the released software.

This post would suit an experienced Software / System Test Engineer who is passionate about developing high quality system tests.

Key duties of the Software System Test Engineer

* Take ownership, monitor, maintain and improve the current software regression system

* Designing and implementing the new system tests for all of the company software

* Responsibility for initial diagnosis of failed regressions

* Documentation of all test systems

As Software System Test Engineer you will have:

* Excellent skills in creating system tests to prove that the software meets all requirements

* Excellent skills in stress testing software to locate issues

* Knowledge and use of automated test tools for GUI 's

* Managing and maintaining Jenkins

* Comfortable working and developing in both Linux and Windows

This role would suit a Software System Test Engineer experienced enough to recommend the best suited technologies for software system testing within the business.
