I am currently working with a rapidly expanding market leader in the financial services sector who are looking to add to their existing team with a Senior Network Engineer.

The IT function has almost quadrupled in size over the last 3 years and offers great career opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and manage new Networking technologies

* Provide level 2 and 3 Network support across the business

* Monitor Network support queues ensuring potential issues are resolved quickly and effectively

* Act as a point of escalation for more junior engineers and offer advice and guidance

* Work as a technical lead with the infrastructure team advising on networking issues

Essential technical knowledge and experience:

* Experience of Network design using models such as 3-tier and SONA

* Extensive Cisco experience

* Experience in configuring and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, PKI/Certificates, Encryption

* CCNA or CCNP qualifications

* Strong experience in deploying, implementing, configuring and upgrading Cisco routers, switches

* Exposure and appreciation with common infrastructure technologies (VMware, Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft Server OS's, Load balancing, SAN's e.t.c.
