Pre-Sales Consultant needed for established engineering business in Essex. If you consider yourself a Pre-sales Consultant who can help understand the technical aspects from the customers and best consult on the direction they wish to take their technology, as well as being able to hold detailed technical conversations with Software Developers - then Computer Futures want to hear from you…

Due to continuous success, this market leading business urgently requires the skills of a Technical Consultant to help free up time from the Software Development Team & Senior Management.

Being a leadership role, this is a perfect opportunity for you to 'leave your mark on the company's technical delivery'. Being expected to lead from the front, you'll coordinate the company's software development. Not developing the software itself (advantageous if you can develop), your role will more oversight and end-to-end delivery. Making sure projects/products are deliver in a costly and timely manner.

The following skills are required. However, the company will not expect you to have outstanding experience within each category, and will help to provide daily support in areas of;

* Working knowledge of C# or C++ software development. (Previous experience as Software Developer is advantageous).

* Customer facing experience within a Technical Consultant or Pre-Sales role.

* Experience of leading (advantageous) or working alongside a team of software developers.

* Experience of project delivery (cost & time management) requirement gathering & stakeholder management.

Desirable Knowledge & Skills;

* Ability to develop software in an agile environment using a TDD approach.

* Visual Studio 2015 or later.

* Software development on 64-bit Windows 7 & 10 platforms.

* Experience in supporting and debugging field issues.
