What you’ll be doing

We are currently looking for an expert Information Security Manager to join our talented Digital team on a permanent basis. We have an ambitious agenda ahead of us, and as we embark on our digital transformation journey, it’s vital that we are working with systems that are secure, exhibit best practice and meet information security standards.

Working closely with our Head of Cyber and Information Security you will help review our existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and will work proactively to deliver the required changes to help us achieve maturity. Specific key deliverables will include achieving PCI - DSS compliance, and embedding a secure development environment. You will also work to continually improve ‘data protection’ and other similar compliance controls.

As a key member of the Digital team you will work collaboratively with your colleagues in our Engineering and Architecture teams in addition to stakeholders across the wider business. And, as a true, certified (CISSP, CISM or equivalent) professional you will be respected for your expertise and will use your approachable manner to advise and guide both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

This role would ideally suit an Infrastructure Architect that has transitioned to a Security focused role, so it goes without saying that you will have a strong technical infrastructure background and will be able to get to grips with our technical landscape quickly. Specific AWS experience would prove particularly advantageous, and knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Gmail is also important.

Given our ambitious agenda and timescales we are looking for a proactive, self-starter that has an excellent track record of delivering change and improvements. You will have worked in organisations of a similar scale and complexity and will take a confident approach when working with stakeholders.

We are always impressed by candidates that are knowledge hungry and keen to develop, so if you are an active member of Information Security communities or equivalent and go above and beyond to ensure that you remain up to date with industry developments then we would be pleased to hear from you.

What we’ll offer you

We believe in getting the best out of people, and our newly refurbished modern working environment is relaxed and friendly. We have a subsidised canteen with access to its own roof terrace - the perfect place to enjoy your two free healthy lunches offered each week. There are excellent benefits including 28 days annual leave, private healthcare, and award winning pension scheme (and the usuals...flexible working, Cycle to Work, season ticket loan scheme, childcare vouchers, etc). We even have a private section of Regent’s park which is handy for hot summers and team building events!
