It’s vital that our workforce reflects the diversity of both our audience and the wider society in the UK, so we’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer and we actively seek candidates from diverse backgrounds and communities. We also recognise the importance of a good work life balance, so we do everything we can to accommodate flexible working, including part-time and job shares for all our roles. Please just let us know in your application or at any stage throughout the process if this is something you want to explore.

We’re looking for a talented Developer to join ITN’s Software Development Team. The successful candidate will be a passionate Software Developer with demonstrable experience in the technologies listed. Our team is a fast-paced, leading edge group that delivers and proactively explores new and essential software for all corners of ITN’s content-led business and we are looking for a like-minded enthusiast individual to join us.

Responsibilities

As a Software Developer you will be working in a friendly, SCRUM-managed team on a variety of items from our diverse Product Backlog. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Stakeholders and experience the entire product lifecycle from Specification through to Design, Implementation, Test and Delivery. ITN is currently in the midst of a series of large greenfield projects which provide ample opportunities to use the very latest technologies, avoid getting mired in legacy code, and play a significant role in the technological future of the business.

It is important to maintain excellent standards compliance and understand the importance of accurately documenting your work for other members of the team and the Technical Support Department, who will be responsible for day-to-day queries from our users about the finished product.
