Leading market risk team within a financial company are seeking an analytic Java developer to work on risk models within a front office environment.

You will be joining a team of 8 award-winning developers as part of a Global Team who identify and employ strategic server side solutions to support the business needs. You will be required to work with risk modes, bond pricing and valuation calculations for the European desk. The models are coded in both Java and Scala, with all models transitioning to Scala in the forthcoming years.

You need strong communication skills as the role is desk facing and you will need to interact with senior stakeholders, strats and quants.

Required skills

* Strong core java server side skills

* Commercial Scala experience

* Financial experience, ideally within risk
