IT Support Analyst, MS Windows, SQL, Hardware and Software Support, Application Support Engineer

An IT Support Analyst is required for a growing engineering requirement agency. This is an exciting role that offers the successful IT Support Analyst the chance to travel across the UK providing support to users. The successful candidate will join a small IT team providing users support with Applications, Software and Hardware. IT Support Analyst will have a good technical understanding, enjoy solving problems and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

This would be a great opportunity for any IT Support Analyst looking to develop their technical skills and move into Application Design/Development.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst:

                                                             Installation and physical moves of equipment

                                                             Provide on-going applications support

                                                             Administration of SQL servers

                                                             Network infrastructure administration

                                                             Ensure data is protected and fully backed up

                                                             Hardware and software installation and configuration

                                                             Ensure disaster recovery arrangements are working effectively

Skills Required for the IT Support Analyst:

                                                             MS Windows Server

                                                             MS Windows 7 Professional

                                                             MS Office 2010

                                                             MS SQL Server

                                                             MS Exchange 2010

                                                             Technical ability

                                                             Problem solving

                                                             Team working

                                                             keen to learn

                                                             willing to get involved in all aspects of delivery
