Design Manager-Multi Utility Infrastructure (Water, Gas, Electric,)

£35-45K plus flexible Benefits scheme

Are you an experienced Multi-Utilities Design Manager, looking for a prestigious senior level position with a national utilities company?

The company are a leading national multi utility infrastructure provider, who have grown rapidly over the past 10 years.

This role will have management responsibility for the process of completing a fit for purpose multi utility design. This includes both directly built constructions and Utility Infrastructure Provider led constructions

Therefore tasks will include:

1.Hands on Design work for the more complex infrastructure acceptances

2.Liaisons with GDNs, DNOs, Water Authorities and Fibre Operators regarding non contestable costs and High level negotiation with developers regarding technical matters

3.Staff management including continuous improvement of the design and approval section process, and performance and target setting of direct reports

To apply you should have:

1.Qualifications and/or experience in designing LP/MP/IP gas and LV/HV electricity distribution systems including working knowledge of current relevant legislation, technical standards & specifications.

2.Experience in managing staff.

3.Working knowledge of design related IT and CAD systems.
