Business Analyst / Product Owner - 6 month contract - £400 a day - Manchester

My client, an established company, are looking for a Business Analyst / Product Owner to work on an international payment solutions offering.

The successful Business Analyst will be requirements gathering across the business to ascertain and interpret business needs into user stories in order for the development team to build. The applicant will bring experience of backlog management, user story elaboration, story/impact mapping and experience of a collaborative agile environment. Previous experience of fintech and payments solutions. The role will require coordinating with stakeholders, off shore development teams and an ability to elicit non-functional requirements.

The position will also entail the use of conventional techniques such as data modelling and business process modelling.

Experience required:

* 5+ years' experience in a similar position

* Experience of working in an agile environment

* Fintech experience

* Payment solutions

* Excellent proven communication and presentation skills

* First-rate problem solving and analytical skills.

* Excellent organisation and a keen eye for detail.

* Solid interpersonal skills

* Experience of working closely with and presenting to development teams

* Adaptability

* Building and maintaining working relationships

* Story mapping experience and workshop facilitation skills are preferred
