A Project Manager with detailed knowledge working with Jira is required for a leading global financial services company based in the City of London.

As Project Manager, you will report directly into the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) coordinating Business Analysts, Product Managers, Development and Quality Assurance teams.

We are looking for a Project Manager, ideally with Financial Services or Global Markets Domain Knowledge to come on board and work closely with the Product Managers and Business Analyst to product tasks for the Dev team. An understanding of the SDLC will be required (you are not expected to be a developer by any means).

The organisation have 3 key areas within their IT function; Development, Trade Support and Infrastructure. You would have access to all IT areas.

There are some exceptional projects currently in progress and on the horizon. As Project Manager you will be solely responsible for these projects. Some projects will last 30 development days and others will be multiyear programmes ranging into the £millions focusing on projects such as Brexit, Cyber Security to setting up new corporate entities in new countries.

The organisation is in the process of adopting Jira into the business and as Project Manager you will be expected to have a detailed understanding of Jira. Being able to create Dashboards, manage and produce tasks.

There is no direct line management or responsibility for budgets. If this is something you are looking for then this role is likely not for you. We are looking for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and go about the 'doing' side of project management.
