£30,000 - £40,000 + tax-free living allowance + tax uplift + accommodation and travel + educational support

Our client is a highly reputable and well-established MEP contractor providing M&E services to the construction market across the UK and Europe. As one of Europe's leading M&E Contractors, this client has a specialist Data Centre construction team which operate across the EMEA region.

The client is looking for Junior Electrical Project Engineers with a desire to progress in their career. This contractor will help facilitate continued professional development as well as training towards chartered status. With hundreds of millions of pounds worth of work already scheduled and their order book filled for the foreseeable future, this client is offering clear and planned progression, extensive training, and longevity in a new and exciting role within the Data Centre Sector.

Junior Electrical Project Engineer responsibilities:

* To assist in creating plans for continuous development of data centres as well as finding resolutions for engineering faults/issues.

* Assisting with compiling contracts and looking into tenders that have been returned.

* Monitoring and tracking deliveries.

* Conducting quality control inspections

* Assisting the design team in answering any questions or queries they may have.

* Keeping track of project progression and producing reports to document this.

* Producing look ahead programs to assist production.

* Carrying out risk assessments as well as creating method statements.

* Carrying out document control, recording & transmitting information

* Noting and relaying information to the appropriate teams, as well as elements of document control.

* Liaising and co-ordinating with clients, other members of the design team and contractors on technical and commercial issues

* Liaising with various different parties throughout the project with the view of solving both commercial and technical problems.

Junior Electrical Project Engineer requirements:

* Experience with an LV environment.

* Experience with EMS / BMS / Fire Alarm / Lighting and small power

* Data Centres, Pharmaceutical or Industrial experience is beneficial but is not essential.

* HNC / Electrical Engineering degree is essential.

* 2 or more years' experience in Electrical Construction environment.

* Excellent report writing skills.
