Business Development Executive

Location: Manchester Office

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Mon- Fri, 37.5 hours per week

Core Focus

To help grow the business's its footprint in SME and Commercial through a multi-channel sales strategy involving account development, email campaigns, social media, call-out days and vendor collaboration.

You will join an excellent team that regularly overachieves, and will be exposed to a fantastic portfolio, supported by inspirational managers who will encourage and mentor you to fast track your career in IT Sales.

Essential Skills and Experience

2+ years desk-based sales (although external Face to Face selling a great advantage)

Commercial sector focus preferable, but not essential

Success in selling an element, or blend of;

Storage, Back-up, Networking, Wireless, Security, Laptop/ Desktop, Microsoft Office365, Unified Communications, Mobile Phone Contracts, Professional Services, Support & Maintenance

Professional communicator; articulate, friendly & consultative

A team player comfortable to work on individual initiatives

Focused on driving new business

Desire to win

Desirable Attributes

Educated sufficiently to handle complex customer requirements

Sales training such as SPIN, Telephone Selling &Negotiation Skills

Current vendor specialisations; cloud, networking, virtualisation, desktop
