Global Web Analytics & Insights Manager

Working for a global retail giant who is recognised by all worldwide, the successful candidate will have the opportunity's to work in a well funded and talented eCommerce / Analytics team based in the European head office in Birmingham.
The Global Analytics and Insights Manager role is a unique opportunity for experienced leader in the insights and analytics. This role will lead the adoption of a data-driven approach within our eCommerce team, actively providing strategy and innovations to deliver improvements across our digital ecosystem, globally.
Role and Responsibilities
*Track key web metrics in a weekly eCommerce dashboards and reports, and flag trends or issues and communicate across teams
*Maintain and support Google Analytics 360 data integrity/validation
*Coordinate tagging for new site content and functionality, tracking parameter implementations.
*Identify gaps in the current data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements
*Analyse web traffic and digital channel performance to deliver recommendations and insights on ways to further improve performance
*Partner and educate other team members to ensure best practices in metrics and decision making are being maintained
Experience
*Excellent problem solving abilities
*Minimum 2 - 3 years of web metrics and/or analytics experience
*Experience with Google Analytics (ideally GA 360) and Google Tag Manager Site tagging implementation (or similar)
*Ability to think critically and make recommendations based on the business data needs: analyse data, interpret results and recommend actions to optimize marketing investments
*Knowledge of digital marketing disciplines
*Ability to collaborate with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders
*BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or equivalent experience required
*Highly proficient in Excel with building complex dashboards
*Experience in Bigquery, R, SQL, Javascript, or database marketing and CRM programs a strong plus
