Fast Track Engineer - Reading (Windows 10, SCCM, Intune)

My client, a leading technology company are looking for an Engineer to join a growing team based in Reading that are responsible for working directly with customers to ensure products and services are running as they should be. The role will be based in Reading on a contract basis and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Information:

* The FastTrack Center team is looking for thoughtful, analytical, and high energy FastTrack Engineers to join a new team that will be responsible for delivering a customer success including on boarding, and adoption for the next version of FastTrack focused on Microsoft 365.

* The FastTrack Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of on boarding customers and partners which includes providing proactive guidance and remediation assistance. You will help transform the traditional on premises deployment approach to an automated customer success for customers.

* The FastTrack engineer will have to engage customers that purchased Microsoft 365 assess their environment, network, software to identify the actions needed for a smooth and quick cloud on boarding, to define and execute a remediation plan together with the customer's IT staff.

Required Skills:

* Strong technical competency and experience in Desktop modernization and Windows upgrade

* Strong knowledge in System Center Config. Manager and experience in Windows 10 and windows upgrade

* Strong technical back group as system admin role

* The ideal candidate will have 5 years' Customer Support in Microsoft product and / or Consulting Services experience.

* Background in supporting one or more of the following server technologies is considered a plus: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, System Center Configuration manager, Intune, AADP, Operation manager suite.

* Migration experience, deploying, configuring and administering windows 10.

* Good knowledge of Intune or any other mobile device management software Experience with other distribution software packages, device management solutions (Intune, Airwatch) or desktop virtualization technologies (VDI)

* Advanced skills in PowerShell, Active Directory, and Cloud competency: broad view of Cloud services and products.
