Engineering/General Manager

Southern Scotland, Commutable from: Selkirk, Jedburgh, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Melrose, Peebles

£28,000 - £35,000 + Annual Bonus + Pension + Possible Car/Van provided

Are you a looking for the opportunity to join a company at Senior Management level where you will directly impact the success of the business and shape its future?

This is a multi-discipline engineering company that manufacture bespoke one off solutions for a range of businesses across a wide variety of industries. This is a great time to join as the company will be looking to expand and also go into new areas/industries.

This position would someone ideally from an Engineering background with proven management experience.

The Role:

- Assisting in the running of small engineering firm

- Working on one off bespoke projects for a range of clients ensuring they are manufactured and delivered to the highest standard

-Meeting clients to discuss requirements, prepare written quotes and supervise jobs from start to finish

-Mostly based in the workshop but with some site work - (Site work is mostly local)

The Person:

- From an engineering background - preferably steelwork, machine shop, fabrication or related

-Proven management experience

-Looking to join a company with a great reputation
