SQL DBA - Blackpool - £35,000

Working with an organisation in Blackpool, looking for a junior SQL DBA to join their team to help develop and improve their company.

Reporting to the Finance Director working with Sage and the Sales Database (SQL). Working as part of the IT team, you will be expected to develop and improve the database and reporting processes while also getting involved in other ad-hoc IT projects as required.

Duties:

Reporting database

* Oversee import of sales data into the Sales Database (SQL)

* Ensure the integrity and accuracy of imported sales data

* Generate sales reports and send to the business in line with reporting timetables

* Perform scheduled maintenance, monitor and manage SQL Server databases

* Ensure back-up systems are operating effectively.
