Our client, Europe’s leading manufacturer and innovator of modern methods of their industry are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their expanding team. This role is offering a competitive salary of between £35,000 and £45,000.

As the Structural Engineer you will be responsible for:

           Producing designs for company’s products to relevant standards

           Assisting the estimators and designers in preparing quotation/proposal documents

           Interpretation of architects and structural engineer’s drawings

           Briefing and working with designers to ensure that engineer’s schemes are correctly interpreted

           Attending meetings yo discuss any technical issues and promoting the company

           Checking drawings and calculations produced are accurate

           Using and developing design tools in various software packages

The successful candidate for the role of the Structural Engineer will have:

           In depth knowledge of building physics relevant to market sectors to ensure technical liaison with Architects, Engineers, specifies contractor and approves installers

           A degree qualification in engineering

           Working knowledge an experience in using Euro codes and British standards

           Experience of light steel frames

           A full, UK driving license

As the Structural Engineer you will need previous experience as a Structural Engineer within a light steel frame position.

In return the Structural Engineer will receive a basic salary of between £35,000 - £45,000
