Quantity Surveyor / Roofing and Cladding Quantity Surveyor / QSCommutable from South Yorkshire including Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster£35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits including a car or a car allowance and a bonus schemePERMANENTA Quantity Surveyor required to join an organisation working across multiple sectors in the construction industry including but not limited to Industrial, Leisure, Education and Retail, specialising in Roofing and Cladding. They are an extremely successful organisation who are fully accredited by the National Federation of Roofing Contractors. ISO 14001 and Builders Profile and service Design, Quantity Surveying and Project Management.The position will involve the following:-  Managing multiple projects liaising with clients and project managers- Advice on the most appropriate procurement method for the project- Work as a Quantity Surveyor o projects ranging between £50k through to £20million- Manage tender from start to finish, including drawing up initial tenders and feasibility reports- General quantity surveying duties such as take-offs, bills of quantities whilst monitoring and reviewing procurement  - Be able to manage a small team of QS's, with the ability to liaise between the team- Arrive accurately presented, checked, on-time and within budget,- Work alongside designers, project managersMy client is ideally looking for someone with the following background:- Work experience within a small/medium sized firm or evidence of working with a variety of project values- 5-10 years experience in Main-Contracting as a minimum- Ideally some experience in roofing and cladding, this would be advantageous- Experience in Leisure, Industrial Retail or Educational sectors- Solid construction background with a qualification in construction, ideally MSc or RICS degree- Ideally someone who has worked in a variety of sectors, including but predominantly not housing/rail and instead more of a construction biasIdeally looking to pay a £40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits which includes a company car or car allowance and a bonus scheme
