An application support analyst role has been created to focus on supporting a large range of applications that sits on Unix/ Linux operating systems. Liaising with a range of users, users will include internal, external and also occasionally 3rd party clients. This will be a great opportunity for an application support analyst who enjoys working with a range of applications, who would want to continue to be trained and shaped in a role that would develop as technology changes. In addition it is ideal for an application support analyst who loves to gain some great company benefits.

The role will involve the below.

* Supporting bespoke applications

* Analysing and rectifying problems with live applications

* Documentation

* Configuration and integration of applications

* Scripting

Requirements

As an application support analyst the below experience and skills will be required.

Essential

* Unix and or Linux (Redhat)

* Shell scripting (Pearl, Bash, PowerShell) - able to read and modify

* Self-starter and work on their own initiative

* Excellent communicator

* Demonstrate problem management

* Passionate about learning and developing

Desirable

* Oracle (PL-SQL) - run queries and understand how it is structured

* SQL (T-SQL)

* XML

* Angular JS
