I am looking to speak with good Project Managers who have experience with GDPR/Information Governance. Ideally looking for those with substantial health and social care, NHS preferred).
The successful candidate will be leading on GDPR implementation and getting my NHS Trust ready for the new Data Protection and Security Toolkit.
Duties included in role:
* Deliver expert advice on all things and issues related to Information Governance
* Contribute to the Information Governance Steering Group (IGSG) and attend monthly meetings
* Support Trust-wide implementation of the new Data Protection and Security Toolkit requirements and submission process
* Lead workshop exercises for different aspects on IG with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the Trust
* Complete 2018/19 Toolkit Assessment Prep, baseline and submissions
* Develop and present monthly progress/status update reports and the end of year improvement plan
* Implement and update current GDPR/DPA project plan
* Develop and implement the IGSG work programme 2018/19
* Develop and update Trust policies to comply with the changes to data protection legislation
* Deliver GDPR and DPA awareness programmes - briefings, workshops, training and tutorials etc.
* Provide expert IG advice and guidance to support Trust-wide GDPR and DPA implementation
* Review GDPR and DPA implementation (current status and progress so far) and highlight gaps and provide/deliver appropriate solutions
* Monitor training compliance
* Raise awareness on IG risks and incidents
* Provide expert IG advice and guidance to support SMEs, key stakeholders and the IG team
* Assist the IG team with admin service delivery
* Support IG service delivery Trust-wide
* Deputise for to the Head of Information Governance (possibility of providing interim cover for the Head of IG role)
