We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Software Engineer to join an innovative and rapidly growing business based at their offices in Watford or Cambridge, offering the chance to join a friendly and motivated team and be mentored by some of the brightest minds in the UK. You may have recently graduated or are due to graduate this summer, either is fine!

As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed design, coding, testing and support of complex systems across a wide range of technologies and programming languages, focusing on C, C++, Python and JavaScript, but extending to C#, Java, Swift amongst others. It does not matter what language you have experience in at the moment, as they know bright problem solvers like you can, with the help of your personal mentor, pick up the necessary languages quickly.

Working as a Graduate Software Engineer, your role will include:

* Analysis of requirements and invention of the best solution.

* Taking responsibility for an area of functionality and delivering it.

* Contributing to top-level discussions on architecture and future features.

* Development of your own ideas.

To be considered for the Graduate Software Engineer role, you will need to demonstrate:

* A 1st or 2.1 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a related discipline.

* A genuine interest in software development i.e. personal or academic projects on GitHub or elsewhere.

* An ability to think outside the box and put forward new innovative ideas to help contribute to the improvement or products.
