Position: Cloud/DevOps Support Engineer
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Contract/ Freelance: Minimum 6 months
Rate: Negotiable
Overview
As a technical expert within cloud technologies you will be responsible for ensuring availability and optimum performance of the advanced technical support team, managing internal & external customer usage for one of the world's largest hybrid cloud enterprises.
The role:
End User support for issue resolution
Technical break-fix issues - all support levels
Ensure operability of the clouds through configuration
changes, correct software packages
System Maintenance planning and prevention
Advanced technical support & development of a global
corporate hybrid cloud organization
Managing a large-scale cloud environment (5000+
servers)
Managing upgrades in 24*7 operational environment
Development of new tooling & advanced error
management
Skills/Experience:
Advanced technical expertise & experience of the following:
Hybrid Cloud technologies including SDN
Linux Admin-large enterprise environment
e2e network/OS/SW troubleshooting skills in cloud
environment
Automation tools e.g Ansible or Puppet
Hands on knowledge of one or more cloud platform
solutions such as OpenStack & CEPH
Experience of public cloud (AWS Azure, Google) & hybrid
cloud enablement
Knowledge of one or more of the following-Cassandra,
Docker, Kafka
