Infrastructure Manager

A leading Investment Bank are looking for an Infrastructure Manager to join their London team on a permanent basis.

You will be providing 2nd Line (L2) Infrastructure Support to the Market Technology team - both the Development and Test teams. You will gather requirements and forge long term business solutions, as well as solving issues escalated from the L1 team.

You will manage the estate by performing upgrades and maintenance initiatives. You will provide guidance and consult the business on performance capacity and policy.

From a technical standpoint, you will make changes to the firewalls and upgrades to Web technology (Apache / Tomcat). You will need strong skills in Linux and Windows as well as Networking technology.

The ideal Infrastructure Manager will also be competent in Python and Linux Shell scripting.

Other desirable skills are Oracle and SQL as well as MQ technologies.
