Job: Security Analyst

Duration: 9 months

Location: Dublin

Rate: 350-400 p/d

A global business in south Dublin is seeking a Security Analyst / Supplier Security Specialist for a 9 month contract.

The job requires:

* To support the 3rd Party Security Review process in conjunction with Corporate Security & Technology Security. Interfacing with the business on key elements of supplier security

* To conduct desktop security reviews for suppliers and follow up with on-site risk assessments for high risk suppliers, including review of all key locations where the suppliers has access to the business data.

* Produce detailed risk and threat assessments, compile regular reporting to the Corporate Security Manager.

* To advise the business on remedial actions following assessment to prevent potential incidents from occurring.

* Review best practice and standards and develop a cost-effective approach to maintain levels of security balanced against commercial objectives. Ensure security standards are maintained without impacting on customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

* Ensure business is compliant with Group security policies, identifying gaps and remediation plans.

* Complete physical and logical security reviews as part of a review programme on suppliers & locations, the frequency dependent on criticality and security category

* Review Security Policies and standards and provide improvement recommendations to current policies and procedures

* Perform testing to ensure compliance with the IS policy and ensure any noncompliance is effectively managed. Perform other audit, testing and compliance activities as required.

* Work closely with Technology, Internal Audit, Legal and other business units as required to understand IS related challenges and develop plans aimed at meeting those challenges.

* Report to management on progress against defined targets
