You will be joining a team of developers working on data and text analysis software products used by some of the largest companies in the regulated consumer finance market. Their focus is in automating and simplifying the process of managing client finance accounts and extracting data.

In their applications they use technologies like Laravel 5, VueJs, AWS Cloud, Real time pub/sub technologies such as Socket.io, ElasticSearch, OCR/text extraction systems, Redis, and many more!

Responsibilities:

You will be developing backend and front end aspects across a number of web applications, both maintaining and improving the systems as well as designing and implementing new features. You will be developing server side logic to solve complex problems and also craft the HTML and CSS the apps produce. You will be involved in whole development process including designing and testing. You will learn new or unfamiliar technologies and use them during development.

About you:

They are looking for ambitious person with a degree in Computer Science or related fields (or relevant experience). They expect you:

- Understand Object Oriented Programming and know the principles of good programming

- Have knowledge of PHP

- Know basics of Laravel 5 framework

- Know HTML, CSS and JavaScript with jQuery

- Have knowledge of basic SQL queries

- Understand basics of Git

- Keep abreast of technologies as they become available

- Have good problem solving ability

You should demonstrate a personal interest to further develop technical skills and understanding. They are using variety of technologies which you will be able to learn, including:

- Linux, Nginx, Node.js and other server skills

- AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, RDS)

- Real time pub/sub technologies such as Socket.io

- ElasticSearch

- OCR/text extraction systems
