Job Title: Senior Technical Security Lead

Location: Middlesex, London, United Kingdom

Duration: 4 months

Rate: Market rates

Responsibilities:

* Technical Lead of the Security stream - driving the definition and delivery of the Application Assurance across the application suite.

* Define the specific review activities that need to be undertaken, in consultation with the client and internal team.

* Provide direction to other team members, data scientists and the client within the security and Risk spaces.

* Analyse the outcomes of the assurance for gaps, issues and improvements using your experience within the FSI vertical and industry best practice.

* Provide oversight and guidance on immediate quick fix remediation activities, including working with client security, architects, engineers and operational teams.

* Provide overall maturity view of the security stream to the client based on industry best practice.

* Undertake relevant knowledge transfer activities once the engagement is complete.

Experience and Qualifications:

* Extensive experience (10 years+) of the risk and security principles and best practices within the FSI market.

* CISSP, ISO27001, CISA, CISM, CCNA, HIPAA, ITIL, PCI, PSD/2 etc

* Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or equivalent.

* Strong technical knowledge and experience of core technologies within the space including CyberArk, Splunk (or equivalent), McAfee, Forescout etc.

* Experience spanning Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, Cyber core controls, Information and data security required.

* Attention to detail, data analytical capabilities

* Able to troubleshoot and escalate effectively

* Very strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
