VB.NET Software Developer Telford

My client, a market leading and award winning organisation are looking to hire a software developer with experience in VB.Net, SQL Server and Crystal Reports.

This role will see you:

Maintaining and implementing applications on systems and networks.

*Developing and testing stored procedures, SQL Server objects using T-SQL

*Designing and developing database table structure based on system specification and business requirements

*Tuned stored procedures for performance and security

*Designing and developing programme web application / ASP.Net applications using Visual Studio 2008/2010 or the latest version of such development programs as may be in use from time to time.

*Design and develop web services, XML Services, Business logic class

*Design and develop Windows Application, multi-thread programme

*Work with Active and Crystal reports

To be successful in this role you should have most of the following skills:

*VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2000 / 2005, T-SQL, Visual Studio 2008, Web Services and Crystal reports.

*Agile development methodology.

*Experience developing and testing stored procedures and using T-SQL and Source control/TFS.

*Proven experience in a similar role.
