Information Assurance Consultant - to 65k+package

An excellent opportunity to join one of the biggest providers of public services nationwide, as a part of the Information Security Division.

The Role

You will be responsible for guiding the design, implementation and ongoing management of appropriate combinations of technical, physical, procedural and personnel controls to protect customers' data and to comply with our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

This involves working with and influencing at all levels within bid and contract teams, producing a variety of verbal and written outputs.

Key Requirements

* A broad knowledge in the field of Information Assurance, ranging from developing and reviewing security architectures through to risk assessment and accreditation, with at least 5 years' experience of working in the field of IA with limited supervision.

* Up-to-date knowledge of current CESG/HMG standards and guidelines.

* ISO 27001Lead Implementer and/or Auditor.

* PCI-DSS and experience of contact centre environments are desirable.

* Certification against the CESG Certified Professional (CCP) Security Information Risk Advisor (SIRA) and / or IA Architect roles at Senior Practitioner level.

* CISSP is highly desirable (but not essential).

* Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent vocational qualifications.

* Must be SC cleared or willing to undergo SC clearance.
