Infrastructure Architect (Cloud Services) - 3 Month Contract - Preston

Infrastructure Architect (Cloud Services) required to join a client in the information technology industry on a role for an end client in the public sector on a 3-month contract.

Skills

You must have:

* Coding experience and be able to work from across the client technical leadership down the developers

* Great networking skills, organisation and team leadership capability.

* AWS experience and scripting experience to automate cloud builds.

* Experienced application architect with knowledge of legacy applications and experience from conception through to BAU support of an application

Role Description:

You will be working on a project which comprises of Platform and Security Management; Security Information Event Management (SIEM); Perimeter and Network Security; Data and Communications Security; Identity and Access Management; Threat and Vulnerability Management and Privileged User Access Management.

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with the Security Architect and Delivery Manager and two scrum teams to ensure security architectural standards and design are met during delivery and will attend daily stand-ups and scrum ceremonies, integrating within the scrum teams and calling out any technical dependencies.

You will also will work closely with the client-side architects in the Chief Digital Office to work collaboratively on the project and manage stakeholder expectations to gain client acceptance of the design and work completed during each sprint.
