Entry-level Project Manager
£42,726 - £45,854 (depending on experience)
London
You live for technology.
You create and innovate.
You safeguard our nation.
MI6 is the UK's foreign human intelligence agency. In our world, sophisticated technology and innovative techniques enable global covert operations. These strengthen our approach to gathering secret intelligence overseas. And our culture is where creativity, curiosity, insight and intuition are used to face ever-evolving challenges. To ensure we remain ahead of the game, we're looking for talented, aspiring Project Managers.
The role
This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking and innovative team that’s committed to helping us work more efficiently. It means you’ll ensure our intelligence not only stays secret, but is accessible and useful to our people and customers.
As part of a wider team, you’ll deliver projects from conception through to operation. And you’ll be supported by one of our experienced Project Managers every step of the way. It’s about working in a stimulating and varied environment, translating business needs into credible, achievable plans. Plus, you’ll focus on creative ways of incorporating standards of performance, reliability and security.
Building on your experience, you’ll benefit from a combination of formal and on-the-job training, complemented by personalised coaching and mentoring. It’s how you’ll develop a rewarding and purposeful career with us.
About you
To join, you’ll bring demonstrable experience of working in a project environment, and have a recognised qualification such as PRINCE2. You might also be a member of a professional body - the APM or PMI for example. Thanks to this, you’ll understand the project management lifecycle, and possibly have experience of applying some, or all, of it in a project context. Passionate about delivering change, you’ll ensure we perform our mission to the very highest level.
Apply
Our roles are as individual as you are. Find out more and apply via our website by clicking the APPLY button.
To apply to MI6 you must be a born or naturalised British citizen, over 21 years old and normally have been based in the UK for six of the last ten years. You should not discuss your application with anyone other than your partner or a close family member providing that they are British. They should also be made aware of the importance of discretion.
MI6 strives for diversity in the workplace and is committed to the creation and maintenance of a climate in which all staff are treated fairly on the grounds of merit and ability.
