One of my clients in Sydney CBD are currently taking expressions of interest for a Scrum Master for an initial 6 month contract.

The reason behind the role being an expression of interest at this stage is because organisation are currently in the process of establishing and developing their Agile practice so to an extent you will have a hand in shaping the Agile delivery within the organisation.

The organisation runs a number of smaller technology based projects so the Scrum Master will be brought in to introduce Agile to these projects.

The environment that you'll be going into is one that will involve challenging stakeholders who may not be fully behind an Agile delivery method. Also, it is an environment that is ever changing and will require someone with a degree of flexibility.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Agile Scrum Master who has worked with software development teams, be a true people person and have the ability to take leadership. Seeking an individual who truly understands and believes in Agile / Scrum practices.

Key experience:

* Experienced SCRUM Master

* Strong understanding of Agile

* Ability to drive the organisations Agile values and work with other Scrum Masters

* Experience guiding and coaching teams on how to use Agile practices

* Outstanding communication skills and the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Scrum Certification (PSM / CSM)
