Title: ERP Support Consultant

Location: Bristol

Salary: £flexible - depending on level of experience

Global technology development and manufacturing company with their HQ in Bristol is looking to hire an ERP Support Consultant to join the team

Your background will be in an Application Support team or internal Helpdesk role supporting ERP and / or Accounting Software. Any report writing experience, particularly in SQL will be a significant advantage.

You will be someone who really enjoys helping the users get the most out of their software and makes an effort to come up with solutions to their software problems. The role varies from 1st and 2nd Line Support to remote software configuration, training the users, software patching, report writing and more. You will be a good problem solver who provides quick, efficient and effective solutions to queries. You must be able to communicate well at all levels, building solid relationships with our users across the globe. You will be conscientious, hardworking and enjoy being part of a small busy team where what you do really counts.

They will provide training to enable you to better support our users and to be knowledgeable in the applications they use.

Job Details:

-Diagnose and fix bugs, user issues and configuration issues

-Gather and interpret requirements from the business

-Assist with system testing

-Perform administration; maintain user accounts and security

-Create User Documentation and assist with training of end users.

-Write reports to meet business requirements

Key Skills & Experience required:

-Experience in a 1st line ERP support environment

-Have Knowledge of SQL and report writing

-Any experience within the engineering, manufacturing or distribution sectors would be highly beneficial but NOT essential.
