Principal Power Electronics Engineer - West Midlands

The Principal Power Electronics Engineer will be joining a leading organisation, whose main focus is on Power Train technology. The Principal Power Electronics Engineer will lead the design and delivery of motor control power electronics for a variety of customer applications and also interface with design teams in the UK and Europe.
Other responsibilities will include the design and development of inverter hardware including gate drivers, controls boards and DC link components, management of projects and liaising with other sites to co-ordinate design activities.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Power Electronics or Electronics, with a proven background in the following:
* Inverter design and development.
* Leading design teams.
* Motor control theory.
