This is an opportunity to join a technology company (IT and LED products) that has been established for more than 25 years. We are based in NW London (Neasden/Wembley Park tube).
They are on the lookout for a confident, self-driven and hands-on 2nd Line IT Engineer who loves technology, learning new things and making on-going improvements.
The jobs involves supporting the internal/external network, PC infrastructure and business applications including 1st line support. Since they are a technology company the job involves testing and supporting their end-users on their IT related products (training given).
They would like to contribute if you are up for improving your skills by more training and exams.
Work includes:
- Windows Servers and Desktop/mobile OS (setup and maintenance)
- Active Directory
- Maintain and configure laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
- Virtualisation (VMWare and VCenter) abilities
- Networking, switches, routers and firewalls (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- MS Exchange
- MS SQL experience will be a bonus
- IT Hardware
- Printers and scanners
- MS Office
- Some MAC support
- Telephone systems
- Software installs and upgrades
- Business/web applications
- Backup and DR
Ideally they are looking for a

- Can undertake small/medium projects
- Has a good understanding of IT security

- Has good documentation and communications skills
Desirable skills/experience: Degree in an IT related subject with CompTIA/ MCP or other Microsoft qualifications with 2+ years' experience.
