This agency based in central Bristol specialises in technically complex .NET websites, mainly ecommerce. They have developed their own ecommerce software which they use with 3rd party systems. They are a small team: everyone has the opportunity to contribute and make a real impact.

They need a talented developer to build great software and websites.

They specialise in building technically complex websites; you won't be building brochure sites. They need developers who have good .NET skills and can develop bespoke ASP.NET MVC sites.

They are looking to make multiple hires as they are expanding.

In short, they want a

- Passionate .NET software / web developer

- Who wants to progress to, or is already, mid to senior level of dev ability,

- Someone who loves making things

You must have:

- Ability and passion to write great code

- At least two years experience developing .NET using C# and ASP.NET MVC

- Intelligent, quick learner

- Keen to learn new technology and try new techniques

- Enthusiasm for technology and software development

- Excellent, demonstrable understanding of coding standards and best practices

- Knowledge of SQL/T-SQL

Experience in any of the following would be great:

- Unit tests

- Agile/scrum experience

- JavaScript, AJAX, JSON and frameworks

- ASP.NET MVC

- Azure

- Ecommerce

- Making fast, responsive websites

- A little knowledge of HTML and CSS

- Team leadership or peer mentorship, especially for higher salary levels

Responsibilities would include:

- Ownership of your own work and working within a team to deliver robust code

- Actively participate with the team in agile planning, code reviews and retrospectives

- Use agile practices and tools to develop and support software. E.g. TDD, BDD, user stories, pull requests, pair-programming

- Bringing new ideas and process improvements to the team

- Ensure that knowledge is shared across the team

For more senior candidates:

- Taking the technical lead including requirements gathering, design specification, deployment, testing and client support

- Assisting and mentoring the team

The Package they offer

- Salary £30,000 to £60,000 depending on ability
