Contract Business Analyst - BI

Long term contract (initially 12 months)

Dubai

35k - 45k AED per month (£7,000 - £9,500)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Business Analyst to work for one of the biggest clients around the world.

Skills / Environment

*Hands-on, end-to-end BI experience in requirements management, design and development with focus on solution design, data modelling and data management.

*Degree or Honors in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.

*Extensive experience in developing and maintaining enterprise grade conceptual, logical and physical data models.

*Extensive exposure to high volume enterprise grade data management platforms like Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum and similar.

*Extensive experience in design and usage of enterprise BI tools such as MicroStrategy, SAP BO, Tableau, IBM Cognos, Qlik and similar.

*Experience with (open source) big data technologies and the relevant ecosystem and tools such as HDFS, Hive, HBase, Cassandra, Spark, Storm, Hawq, Druid, Flume, Sqoop, Kafka and similar.

*Extensive exposure to enterprise data management tools (such as Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, MDM and similar).

*Demonstrable experience with large-scale business solutions across divisions of the enterprise.

*Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels.
