Are you an experienced Engineer from an automotive manufacturing background looking to work for a key player in world class manufacturing environment?

This is a global leader in design and development of automotive interior systems for the automotive industry.

This position will be the lead in Application Engineering for the integration of the product into the customer environment, coordinating internal engineering with the project team, manufacturing plant and 1st tier or OEM customers.

Therefore the role is responsible for:

*Sourcing a complete description and full understanding of all customer needs on the products

*?????Provide on-site mock up's and design sketches to convey ideas; then document customer's interests and application using CAD to provide detail back to the internal product teams.

*Attend customer sites to understand assembly process and provide onsite expertise to clients.

To apply for this position you should have:

1.Experience of working within the Automotive Manufacturing Industry either with an OEM or 1st and 2nd tier supplier

2.Experience of automotive design including knowledge of Catia V5

3. Heavily experienced in Customer Liaison, being the Engineering Lead at customer meetings and be willing to travel to client sites
