Analysis Engineer (Powertrain)

My client, a Swiss based Aircraft manufacturer are looking for an Analysis Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are looking for a candidate who has proven previous experience working on the stress and fatigue analysis in transmissions/ powertrain of a helicopter.

The role will entail

* Analysing and developing new structures and assemblies using FEM and hand calculations

* Optimizing existing structures and assemblies with focus on gearboxes and transmission shafts

* Documenting relevant certification analyses for static, fatigue and damage tolerance of metallic structures

* Validating FEA

Qualifications

* Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

* Minimum 5 years' experience in static and fatigue analysis in Aerospace

* Significant experience with powertrains (Gearboxes & transmission shafts)

* Knowledge of ANSYS
