Location Cambridge
Salary £30,000.00 - £39,000.00
Our client, a global IT Service Provider which has an opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join them in their head office in Cambridge.

The Role
The role Is all revolving around the companies infrastructure and helping design, build and support the effort.
Responsibilities:
Build/ Deploy and maintain compute infrastructure (including of virtualisation technologies such as VMware, appliances like Server Hardware and Steel Fusion and Operating Systems such as Microsoft Systems
Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues
Assist in upgrading / deploying new infrastructure related problems
Experience:
Proven track record working with Virtualisation Technology like VMware
Microsoft Server
Knowledge of backup technologies such as backup exec, Veeam or AVAMAR
Build and deploy ESX hosts and equivalent
