Network Services Lead - Cisco

My client, a leading financial services company is seeking a Network Services Lead to become a technical subject expert on complex projects, providing high level problem solving skills with the network. As the Network Services Lead you will be involved in the installation, configuration, maintaining, supporting and securing the companies network communications, including LANs and WANs. In addition you will be identifying network problems, isolating root causes and take appropriate action.

The key responsibilities:-

*Design, configure, test, document and implement unusually complex network designs and components.

*Manage complex project tasks independently with internal and external clients.

*Recognise and resolve unusually complex problems and issues according to corporate polices.

*Complex reporting on network performance, trouble-shooting results and maintenance of network elements.

The successful Network Services Lead will possess the following skills and experiences:-

*Advance operation and configuration of Cisco routers and multi-layer switches.

*IP network design and fault finding.

*Wide are networking technologies:- MPLS, DWDM, Leased Line.

*Detailed TCP/IP operation, including understanding of common TCP/IP based applications and packet decoding techniques.

*F5 - Layer 5 / 7 web server load balancer operation and configuration principles.

*Working and supporting network equipment in a Data Centre environment.
